Insatiable

Insatiable - Meg Cabot It took me a couple chapters to get into this book and then the light bulb went off over my head. It is a satire on all of the vampire books that are popular right now and Cabot does a superb job at being serious about the subject and ensuing romance while poking fun at the same time. I hope I am taking the tone of this book correctly since it confused me a little bit. If I am correct, then it is brilliantly done. There is a lot of clever play on the Dracula theme, right down to the character names. Overall, it was an enjoyable read. I think that even though this is an adult book, older teens can enjoy it as well.
